- I am a new graduate students in CS, what classes do I need to take? There are several things that you need to do to determine what classes you should to take. First, you should check the degree requirements for the degree that you are pursuing. You can find the degree requirements on the CS Website. This page has links to the requirements for the Master's and Doctorate Degree programs including a checklist of required and optional courses.
The second thing to do is to check to see which courses are being offered. You can do this at OU's online enrollment system: enroll.ou.edu.
Third, Meet with the Graduate Liason. The Graduate Liason can personally advise you on which courses to take. Note, if you already have a research relationship established with a professor, you may want to visit with your professor instead. They can advise you on which courses will help you in your research efforts.
