Data Mining involves discovering knowledge in data sets such as identifying previously unknown patterns or characteristics.  Our research in this area concentrates on classifying data mining software, developing applications of data mining in bioinformatics, developing scalable data mining techniques, and autonomous data partitioning using data mining for high-end computing.
