Minimizing energy consumed by the nodes in the network is a very important issue in ad-hoc networks.  In our research, we have proposed adaptive hybrid data broadcasting techniques to disseminate information to a large population of clients requesting data with timing constraints. A simulation model has been developed, and extensive simulation has been performed to show that these techniques are energy efficient for clients and servers.
